Yeah I know this topic is rather old but still. It says here from my source that the game would be realease in Spring 2008.
Its going to be Wii exlusive and sp far no release outside of Japan has been announced. And umm this game will take place 2 years after
Tales of Symphonia.

ToS just got attention because it was kind of the only major RPG on an underfed console. It wasn't that good. :(

It was still fun but too bad some parts that were in the ps2 version werent in the GC
(Like the battle vs. Mithos, Kratos, and Yuan).

Yes. And the Ps2 version had more umm Hi-Ougi (or something)
and more things like  that extra battle I was talking about.
I think it was only released in Japan though...

Also yeah the PS2 version had more things available like certain special moves, weapons, tech skills, battles, and other stuff.
